According to the Indian Constitution, the Judicial system of India is divided into three categories. It consists of the District Court, High Court and Supreme Court.

1. The District Court: The District court is also known as the subordinate court, as it is directly subordinate to the high court. The segregation of the district court depends on the population of the district. The cases dealt in the district court are the civil and criminal cases. A person not satisfied with the decision of the district court can go to the high court.

2. High Court: High court is present in every state, according to the Indian Constitution. The High court has a total of 94 judges. They deal with legal documentation and economic issues. A person not satisfied with the decision of the high court can go to the supreme court.

3. Supreme Court: the supreme court is the at the apex of the pyramid, it is the highest court of law in the country. Ideally, unsolved cases move to the supreme court. The highest authority is the chief justice of India. The verdict given by the supreme court id final, it cannot be challenged by any authority.
