(i)The reaction when HCl and NaOH combined is neutalisation reaction. (ii) Na2 CO3 is used in water softener.

(iii)HCl is strong acid and NaOH is strong base.

(iv)NaHCO3 is used for antacid.

(v)CaSO4 . ½ H2 O is used in making sculpture.

(vi) CaOCl2 is used as germicide in the sterilization of drinking water.
