Let the consecutive numbers be
x
(x+1)
(x+2)

∴ x + (x+1) + (x+2) = 36 
⇒ 3x = 36 - 3
⇒ 3x = 33
⇒ x = 11

Therefore, the numbers are :
x = 11
(x+1) = 12
(x+2) =  13

so
$x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 36$
$3x + 3 = 36$
$3x = 33$
$x = 33 \div 3$
$x = 11$
so the nos are
$x = 11$
$x + 1 = 12$
