Let the other number be 'x'

Now we have ,

x+\frac{9}{2} =\frac{-11}{12} (equation)

Aim : To find the value of 'x' in the equation

⇒  x= \frac{-11}{12}-\frac{9}{2}

x=\frac{-11}{12}-\frac{54}{12}

x= \frac{-11-54}{12}

x=\frac{-65}{12} (answer)

Conclusion :  ∴ We have found the other number required that is \frac{-65}{12}
