let the four consecutive terms be a-3d , a-d, a+d and a+3d.
a-3d+a-d+a+d+a+3d=32
4a = 32
a = 32/4
a= 8.
(a-3d)(a+3d)/(a-d)(a+d) =15/16
(8-3d)(8+3d)/(8-d)(8+d) =15/16
(8)²-(3d)²/ (8)²-(d)² = 15/16
64- 9d²/64-d²= 15/16
crossmultiply; we get
solve this u will get the answer.
a-3d+a-d+a+d+a+3d=32
4a = 32
a = 32/4
a= 8.
(a-3d)(a+3d)/(a-d)(a+d) =15/16
(8-3d)(8+3d)/(8-d)(8+d) =15/16
(8)²-(3d)²/ (8)²-(d)² = 15/16
64- 9d²/64-d²= 15/16
crossmultiply; we get
solve this u will get the answer.
