let the 4 consecutive numbers be x, x+1, x+2 and x+3.

sum=354

x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)=354

x+x+1+x+2+x+3=354

3x+6=354

3x=354-6

3x=348

x=348/3

x=116.

second number,

x+1=116+1

=117.

pls mark as branliest. cheers

sindukar: there is a mistake in the middle. it is 4x, and not 3x. so the second number will be 87+1=88
sindukar: sorry

1st no. x
2nd no. x+1
3rd no.x+2
4th no. x+3
A/q= x+x+1+x+2+x+3=354
= 4x+6=354
=4x=354-6
= 4x= 348
= x=348/4
=x= 87
Now, only 2nd no. is x+1= 87+1= 88 ans.
