Hi, my friend.
Here is your answer.

Let five consecutive numbers are
x ,(x+1) ,(x+2) ,(x+3), (x+4)
Sum is
x+x+1+x+2+x+3+x+4 =110
5x + 10 =110
5x = 110-10
5x= 100
x= 100/5
x =20

Now, Fourth number =x+3
=20+3
=23
Hope it will help you my friend...........

Answer:

Required fourth integer is 23.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,sum of 5 consecutive integers is 110.

Here we want to find fourth integer.

But now question is what is Integer ?

A whole number that can be positive, negative, or zero is called integer.

For example, 1,2,-1,0,5 all are integers

Let,5 consecutive integers be

x,(x + 1),(x + 2),(x + 3),(x + 4)

According to question sum of

x,(x + 1),(x + 2),(x + 3),(x + 4)

is equal to 110.

So,

x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) + (x + 3) + (x + 4) = 110

We are removing brackets,

x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 + x + 4 = 110

We are separating variable and constant part,

x + x + x + x + x = 110 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 \\ 5x = 110 - 10 \\ 5x = 100 \\ x =  \frac{100}{5}  \\ x = 20

So, consecutive 5 integers are

20,(20 + 1),(20 + 2),(20 + 3),(20 + 4) = 20,21,22,23,24

Therefore required fourth integer is 23.
