Hi ,
Let ( x - 2 ),( x - 1 ),x,( x + 1 ) and (x + 2)
are 5 consecutive Integers ,
According to the problem given ,
Sum of these numbers = 265
x - 2 + x - 1 + x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 265
5x = 265
x = 265/5
x = 53 ,
Therefore ,
Five consecutive numbers are ,
x - 2 = 53 - 2 = 51 ,
x - 1 = 53 - 1 = 52 ,
x = 53 ,
x + 1 = 53 + 1 = 54 ,
x + 2 = 53 + 2 = 55
Required next interger = 55 + 1 = 56
I hope this helps you.
