Let the first odd number be n. We have the other 4 odd numbers denoted as:

n + 2

n + 4

n + 6

n + 8

Now we will add all of these

n + (n + 2) + (n + 4) + (n + 6) + (n + 8)

We know that the sum of 5 consecutive odd number is 145

n + (n + 2) + (n + 4) + (n + 6) + (n + 8) = 145

We will combine the like terms here:

5n + 20 = 145

n = 25

27

29

31

33

These are the other 4 consecutive odd numbers.

Now if we add all of these up we will get this :

25 + 27 + 29 + 31 + 33 = 145.

5 odd consecutive number added to get 145 are {25, 27, 29, 31, 33}
