Let the required two digit number be 10x+y

∴It's reverse =10y +x

According to the question,

10x+y + 10y +x = 66

⇒11x + 11y = 66

⇒11 (x+y) = 66

∴ (x+y) = 6                  .....Eqn (i)

Given, |x-y| = 2

Adding both the Eqn (i) & (ii)

\left \{ {{(x+y) = 6 } \atop {(x-y) = 2}} \right.

∴x=4 & y=2

So, the number can be 42 as well as 24 since it is not given that the tens digit is the greater one.
