xy + yx               = 165 

10x + y + 10y+x = 165

11x + 11y           =  165

Divide Both sides By 11 

         x + y          =  15 __________(1)

Also,x - y           = 3 ____________(2) 

By 1 and 2 we get 

2x = 18 

x   =  9 

y   =  6

so the number is

So the number is 96 or 69
