  • Assume the age of youngest person.
  • Take the ages of other person in interval of 4.

Step 1:

Let the age of youngest person is x years.

Age of next elder person is (x+4) years

Age of next elder person is (x+4+4) =(x+8) years

Step 2:

Sum of ages of all person is 60 years.

So,

x + (x + 4 )+ (x + 8 )+ (x + 12 )+ (x + 16) +( x + 20 )= 60 \\

or

6x + 60 = 60 \\

or

\bf x = 0 \\

Thus,

The age of youngest person is zero years.

So,
