the sum of Ages of a father and his son is 60 years if 5 years before a age of father was four times to his son then there a present ages​

let the present age of the Father and His Son be ,X and Y .

solution we know that ,

x + Y = 60

x=60-Y .......... equation (1)

again

X - 5 = 4(Y-5)

60-Y =4Y-20

60+30=4Y+Y

90 = 5Y

Y =90/5

Y = 18 Years

putting the value of Y in equation (1) we have ,

X = 60-Y

X = 60-18

X =42 years .
