There are 50 odd numbers from 1 to 100.

  • 1, 3 5, 7, 9,
  • 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 .....

50 odd numbers can be made into 25 pairs

  • 50 ÷ 2 = 25

.

We can pair them, one from the front and one from the back:

  • 1 and 99 = 100
  • 3 and 97 = 100
  • 5 and 95 = 100 ....

.

So sum of all the 25 pairs:

  • 25 x 100 = 2500

.

Answer: 2500
