The sum of an infinite GP is 1- 1/3 + 1/9- 1/27+....is


BrainlyYoda: I think in place of minus sign there should be plus sign.
dpq: no there is minus and plus both ..

here, a= 1
and r = -1/3
sum = a/(1-r)
        = 1/[1-(-1/3)]
        =1/[1+1/3] = 1/[4/3]
        =3/4
