Given:-

Sum of digits = 11

Difference of Original number and The reversed number = 9

To Find:

The original number.

Concept:-

  • a + b = 11
  • let the two digit number be 10a+ b

and number obtained on reversing the digits

is 10b+ a

ATQ 10a + b -(10b+a) = 9

= 9a - 9b = 9

9(a-b) = 9

a-b = 1

Calculation:

Putting the two equations together,we get

a + b = 11

a - b = 1. ( By adding )

2a = 12

a = 6

______________________________________

Putting the value in the equation 1

= 6 + b = 11

b = 11

so the two digit number is 10a + b

= 10 × 6 + 5

= 60 + 5.

hope it helps you
