The sum of digits of a two digit number is 8.When the digits are reversed the number increases by 18. What is the original number ​

Answer:

let us take one of the digit of the number as x

so x+ (x-8) is the number

= 10x + x-8

when the number is reversed it becomes x-8 +x = 10x-80 +x

so according to the question

10x+x-8+10x-80+x = 18

22x -78 = 18

22x = 18 + 78

22x = 96

x = 96/22
