s = 2 {n}^{2}  + 3n
let n=1 ..which will give you first term
a=5
s(2)=sum of first term+second term =8+6=14
5+second term =14
second term =9
a=5
a+d=9
d=4
sixteenth term =a+15d=5+14*4
