Answer :-

Let the first consecutive no. of these four no.s be x.

So,

other three no.s are :-

x + 1

x + 2

x + 3

Given,
The sum of these four consecutive integers = 266

i.e

Integer 1 + integer 2 + integer 3 + integer 4 = 266

Now, substituting the values we have assumed :-

x + (x + 1) + (x +2)+(x +3) = 266

Opening the brackets :-

x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3=266

This is a linear equation is one variable ( x ).

Solving this linear equation using transposition :-

4x + 6 = 266

4x = 260

x = 65

So, the required unknown no.s are:-

x = 65

x + 1 = 66

x + 2 = 67

x + 3 = 68
