Solution :-

Let the number of each denomination be x and y.

A/Q

→$x + y = 90----eq.1$

→$5x + 10 y = 500$

dividing both side by 5,

→$\dfrac{5x}{5}+\dfrac{10y}{5}=\dfrac{500}{5}$

→$x + 2y = 100 ---eq. 2$

Now subtract eq. 1 and eq. 2

→$x - x + y - 2y = 90 - 100$

→$-y = -10$

→$y = 10$

Now put the value in eq. 1

→x + y = 90

→x + 10 = 90

→x = 90 - 10

→x = 80

The number of denomination of ₹5 is 80 and ₹10 is 10.
