Hii ☺ !!

Let present age of shiksha and Rabi be X and Y years.

A/c,

x + Y = 73 --------(1)

And,

x + 4 = 2 ( y + 4 )

x + 4 = 2y + 8

x - 2y = 4 -------(2)

From equation 1 we get

x + y = 73

x = 73-y ------(3)

Putting the value of x in equation (2) ,we get

x - 2y = 4

73 - y - 2y = 4

-3y = 4 - 73

-3y = -69

y = 23

Putting the value of y in equation (3) ,we get

x = 73 - y = 73 - 23

x = 50

Hence,

Present age shiksha and Rabi = 23 and 50 year's respectively.

Hii Mate !!

Here is your answer.

Solution :

Let present ages of shiksha and rabi be X a d Y year's.

Age of shiksha + Age of Rabi = 73------(1) [ Given ]

And,

After 4 years age of shiksha = ( x + 4 ).

And, After 4 years age of rabi = ( y + 4 ) .

x + 4 = 2 ( y + 4 )

x + 4 = 2y + 8

x - 2y = 4 -----(2)

From equation (1) , we get

x + y = 73

x = 73 - y -------(3)

Substitute the value of X in equation (2) , we get

x - 2y = 4

73 - y - 2y = 4

-3y = 4 - 73

-3y = 69

y = 23

Substitute the value of y in equation (3) , we get

x = 73 - y = 73 - 23

x = 50

Hence,

Present age of shiksha = x = 50 years.

And , Present age of Rabi = y = 23 years.
