=> (a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab
=> (a-b)^2= 36
=> a^2+b^2-2ab = 36
=> 80-2ab = 36
=>80-36 = 2ab
=>44=2ab
=>ab= 22
Ans.= The product of the two numbers is 22.

x2. + y2 -2xy = 36
by equation 1
80 -2xy = 36
-2xy = 36-80
-2xy = -44
xy = 22.
