Sn= 2n^2+3n
n=1,
S1=2(1)^2+3(1)
=2+3=5=T1
n=2,
S2=2(2)^2+3(2)
=2(4)+6=14
T2=S2-T1=14-5=9
n=3,
S3=2(3)^2+3(3)
=2(9)+9=27
S3=T1+T2+T3
T3=S3-T1-T2
=27-5-9=13
The terms are 5,9,13,.........

Answer:

as it is given that sinx + cosx= √2

now squaring both the sides you will get

sin^2x + cos^2x + 2sinxcosx=2

1+2sinxcosx=2

sinx cosx=1/2

now the question that is to find the value of tanx + cotx

first convert them into sin and cos

after converting them the numerator will be equal to 1 and denominator will be sinx cosx

which is equal to 1/2

therefore the answer will be 2
