Answer:

-38,-28,-18 are the first three terms of A. P

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that t n=a+(n-1)*d

therefore 4th term=a+3d

8th=a+7d

6th=a+5d

10th=a+9d

from given conditions,

4th term+8th term=24

a+3d+a+7d=24

2a+10d=24.............(1)

6th term +8th term =44

a+5d+a+7d=44

2a+12d=44........(2)

subtract (1)from(2)

2a+12d=44. (solved using linear eq.)

2a+10d=24

2d=20

d=20/2=10. d=10

put value of d in(1)

2a+10d=24

2a+10*10=24

2a+100=24

2a=24-100

2a=-76. a=-76/2. a=-38

we know that first 3 terms can be written as,

a=-38

a+d=-38+10=-28

a+2d=-38+2*10=-38+20=-18
