The sum of the 3 friends ages= 99

Raj's age =x

Ria's age =x+5

Rama's age =x-2

Raj's age +Ria's age+Rama's age =99

$x + (x + 5) + (x - 2) = 99 \\ 3x + 3 = 99 \\ 3x = 99 - 3 \\ 3x = 96 \\ x = 96 \div 3$

x=32
