let the age of son be x  and then the age of father will be 4x

if their sum is 65

Now,

x+4x = 65

5x =65

x = 65/5

x = 13

then,

age  of son is 13 years and age of father = 4*13 = 52 years

i hope this will  help you

Hlo friend...Cutiepie Here..

Here is ur answer :

Sum of the ages of the father and the son is 65 years.

Let the son's age be a

Then the father's age be 4 × a = 4a

Acc. To question

a + 4a = 65

5a = 65

a =  \frac{65}{5}

a = 13

So, the son's age is a = 13 years.

The father's age is 4a = 13 × 4 = 52 years.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..
