the number when interchange is 27 more than original number

10x + y = 10y + x - 27

x - y = - 3 equ (2)

adding equ (1) + (2)

2x = 8

x = 8/2 = 4

substitute x in equation (1)

x + y = 11

4 + y = 11

y = 11 - 4

y = 7

the required number is

= 10x + y

= 10(4) + 7

= 40 + 7

= 47
