let the two digits be x and y

x+y=5⇒1st equation

original number= 10 x+y

reversed number=10 y+x

According to the question

10 x+y+27=10 y+x

  • 10 x-x+y-10 y=-27
  • 9 x-9 y=-27⇒2nd equation

multiply equation 1 with 9

9 x +9 y=45 and 9 x-9 y=-27

by adding the two equations, we get

x=18/18

thus, x=1 and

  • 9 x+9 y=45  (substituting the value of x as 1)
  • 9 y=45-9
  • y=36/9
  • y=4

original number= 10 x+y= 14

DONE! Hope this Helps! :))
