→ x + y = 6

→ 10 x + y - (10 y + x) = 18
→ 10 x + y - 10 y - x = 18
→ 9 x - 9 y = 18
→ x - y = 2
using eqn (1)
→ 6 - y - y = 2
→ 6 -2 y = 2
→ 2 y = 6 - 2
→ 2 y = 4
→ y = 2
putting value of y in eqn (1)
→ x = 6 - y
→ x = 6 - 2
→ x = 4

the number will be
= 10 x + y
= 10 (4) + 2
