☆Hello friend☆
Let's the original number be 10x+y
Reversed number = 10y+x
10x+y-18= 10y+x
10x+y-10y-x=18
9x-9y=18
Each getting 2
x - y = 2 _____(1)
x + y = 6 _____(2)
Adding both equation
2x = 8
x= 8/2 , x= 4
Putting x value in 1st equation,
4 - y= 2
-y = 2 - 4
-y = -2 , minus get cancelled out
y= 2
So original number was 10x+y,10× 4+2
= 42
Hope it helps
