1st AP Series : 12, 16, 20, ....
⇒ a1 = 12
⇒ d = 4
Find the nth series:
an = a1 + (n - 1)d
an = 12 + (n - 1)4
an = 12 + 4n - 4
an = 8 + 4n
Find the 50th term:
an = 8 + 4n
an = 8 + 4(50) = 208
Find the sum of the first 50 terms:
Sn = n/2 (a1 + an)
s50 = 50/2 (12 + 208) = 5500
