LCM - HCF = 160 (2)
Now adding both equations :
⇒ LCM + HCF + LCM - HCF = 176 + 160
⇒ 2LCM = 336

Now putting this value in (1) :
⇒ 168 + HCF = 176
⇒ HCF = 176 - 168
