The sum of the numerator and the denominator of a fraction is 15. The denominator is 3 more than twice the numerator .find the fraction

Then , denominator = 2x+3

According to the question ,

2x+3+x = 15

3x +3 = 15

3x = 15-3

3x = 12

x = 12/3 = 4

Numerator = 4

Denominator = 11
