Answer:

Let the present age of son be x

So, the present age of father is 60 -x

ATQ,

(60-x) - 6 = 5(x-6)

54-x = 5x -30

54+30 = 6x

84/6 = X

x = 14

Hence, Age of son after 6 years will be X+6 = 20years

I hope your doubt is clear now .........

Answer:

Let the sons present Age be x years and father's present age will be (60 - x) years.

According to Question :

➳ (60 - x) - 6 = 5(x - 6)

➳ 54 - x = 5x - 30

➳ 6x = 84

➳ x = 84/6

➳ x = 14 years

Therefore,the age of his son after 6 years will be (x + 6) years = 20 years.
