The sum of the present ages of mother and her daughter is 50 years. After 20 years mothers age will be twice her daughters age at that time. Find their present ages

let mother age is x
then daughter age is 50-x
after 20 years
m=x+20
d=50-x+20
acc to q
x+20=2(70+-x)
x+20=140-2x
x+2x=140-20
3x=120
x=120/3
x=40
