Why is hydrogen get collected at negative electrode? Please answer this.

because hydrogen carried positive charge in free state

here is your answer
during dissociation of water(taking as example)
the water dissociates to hydrogen and oxygen by 6%
the hydrogen gas is collected at cathode ( negative electrode ), this is because hydrogen is electro-positive in nature.
