Answer:

b = -4 and c = -12

Step-by-step explanation:

I guess ,the equation is 2x²+bx+c = 0

It is of the form ax² + bx + c = 0

∴ a = 2, b = b and c = c

Given,

sum of roots = 2

product of roots = -6

=> We should know the relation between zeroes and coefficients.

» Sum of zeroes = -x coefficient/x² coefficient

                       2  = -b/a

                      2   = -b/2

                     -b  = 2(2)

                      b  = -4

» Product of zeroes = constant/x² coefficient

                               -6  = c/a

                               -6  =  c/2

                                c  = (2)(-6)

                                c  = -12
