Y²+6Y+5=0

Y²+Y+5Y+5=0

Y(Y+1)+5(Y+1)=0

(Y+1)(Y+5)=0

(Y+1)=0. OR (Y+5)=0.

Y= (-1). Y=(-5)

SO, SUM = (-1)+(-5)=(-6)

HOPE THIS HELPS :)
