let the no is 6x and 6(x+1) .

now , according to question ,

=> (6x)² + ( 6x+6 )² = 1476

=> 36 { x²+ (x+1)²} =1476

=> x² + x²+2x +1 = 41

=>2x² + 2x -40 = 0

=>2( x² + x -20) = 0

=> 2(x+5)(x-4)= 0

so ,x is 4 and -5 .

here negative number is not possible , therefore x is 4 .

Hence , 6x = 24 and 6(x+1) = 30
