The sum of the two digit number and the number formed by interchanging it's digit is 88.If the sum of the sum and difference of the digits of the number is 8,what is the number

Answer:

Let the two digit is x and y

The number is=10x+y

Interchanging the two digit ,the number is =10y+x

10x+y+10y+x=88

11x+11y=88

11(x+y)=88

x+y=88/11=8

x+y=8--------(1)

x-y=8---(2)

Adding two equations we get

2x=16

x=16/2=8

x=8

Substracting two equations we get

x+y=8

x-y=8

y=0

The number is=10x+y=10*8+0=80
