the sum of the zeroes of the polynomial 3x²- 10x +3​

The given equation is 3x2−10x+k=0

Let the two roots be α and β. 

∴α+β=3−(−10)=310

Substituting α=31 in (1) we get β=3

Also, αβ=3k,          →k=3

Thus, the other root  b = 3 and  the value of k =3
