the sum of theee consecutive odd number is 129.find the product of the three number.

Answer:

Let the numbers be x, x+1 and x+2 (since they are consecutive)

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 129

3x + 3 = 129

3x = 129 - 3

    = 126

x = 126/3

  = 42

∴ The numbers are 42, 43 & 44

The product of the three numbers is 79464
