Let x be an even integer. Then the other two integers will be

x + 2 , x + 4

According to the question

x + x + 2 + x + 4 = -258

3x + 6 = -258

3x = -258 - 6

3x = -264

x = \frac{-264}{3}

x = -88

Hence, the three integers are

•x = -88

•x + 2 = -88 + 2 = -86

•x + 4 = -88 + 4 = -84

The three even consecutive integers which give the sum (-258) are

\textbf{-88,-86,-84}

Let us assume the 3 consecutive even numbers to be x, (x+2), (x+4)....

\bold{Their\:sum\:=\:-258}

Therefore,

x + x +2 + x+4 = -258

3x + 6 = -258

3x = -258 -6

3x = - 264

x = - 264/3

x = - 88

\bold{First\:Number} = x = -88</p><p></p><p>[tex]\bold{Second\:Number} = x+2 = -88+2 = -86

\bold{Third\:Number} = x+4= -88 + 4 = -84
