The the first consecutive number = x
Sum of three consecutive numbers= -24 (i)
Also, sum of three consecutive numbers = x+(x+1)+(x+2)       (ii)

(i) = (ii)
x+x+1+x+2 = -24
3x+3           = -24
3x      = -24-3
3x      = -27
x        = -27/3
x        = -9

So, x= -9, x+1=-8, x+2 = -7

Therefore, the three consecutive numbers are -9, -8, -7.
