sum=78
x+x+1+x+2=78
3x+3=78
3(x+1)=78
x+1=26
x=25

therefore three consequitive no.s are 25,26,27

Let the 3 consecutive nos be (x), (x+1) , (x+2)

(NOTE:Whenever asked for consecutive nos give these as the nos)

=x+x+1+x+2=78

=3x+3=78

=3x=78-3

=3x=75

=x=75/3

=x=25

(nos are x=25,x+1=26,x+2=27)
