let the multiples of 4 are 4x,4x+4 and 4x+8

4x + 4x + 4 + 4x + 8 = 252

12x + 12 = 252

12(x+1) = 252

x+1 = 252/12

x + 1 = 21

x = 21 - 1

x = 20

the multiples are 20 , 24 and 28

THE ANSWER IS HERE,

Let the consecutive numbers be 4x, 4x+4 & 4x+8.

From the question,

=> 4x+4x+4+4x+8=256

=> 12x+12=256

=> 12 (x+1)=256

=> x+1=256/12

=> x+1=21

=> x=20.

So, The numbers are 4(20) ; 4 (20)+4 & 4 (20)+8


=> 80 ; 84 & 88
