Let us suppose,

The consecutive multiples of 5 be,

  • x
  • ( x + 5 )
  • ( x + 10 )

According to the question,

The sum of three consecutive multiples of 5 is 330.

x + (x + 5) + (x + 10) = 330

➝ x + x + x + 5 + 10 = 330

➝ 3x + 15 = 330

➝ 3x = 330 - 15

➝ 3x = 315

➝ x =  \cancel{\dfrac{315}{3}}

x = 105

The consecutive multiples of 5 are :-

  • x = 105

  • ( x + 5 ) = 105 + 5 = 110

  • ( x + 10 ) = 105 + 10 = 115

The smallest integer among the three is 105.
