Let the three consecutive multiples of 8 be 8x,8x+8,8x+16
ATQ,
8x+8x+8+8x+16 = 888
24x+24               = 888
24(x+1)              =  888
x+1                    =   37 
x                        =  36 
8x                      =  288
8x+8                  =  296
8X+16                =  304
so, required numbers are 288,296,304

Let one of the number be "8x"
Then the remaining numbers should be 8x + 8 and 8 x + 16

Given :-

8x + 8x + 8 + 8 x + 16 = 888

24x + 24 = 888

24x = 888 - 24

24x = 864

x = 864 / 24

x = 36

Hence , the numbers are :

8x = 8 x 32 = 288

8x + 8 = 288 + 8 = 296

8x + 16 = 288 + 16 = 304

The numbers are :-
288,296 and 304
