Solution 1 :-

Let the three consecutive number be x , ( x + 1) and ( x + 2 )

According to the question ,

The sum of three consecutive numbers is 150

Therefore ,

x + ( x + 1 ) + ( x + 2) = 150

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 150

3x + 3 = 150

3x = 150 - 3

3x = 147

x = 147/3

x = 49

Three consecutive numbers are :-

x = 49

x + 1 = 49 + 1 = 50

x + 2 = 49 + 2 = 51

Solution 2 :-

Let the three consecutive even numbers be (x +2) ( x + 4) , ( x + 6)

According to the question ,

The sum of three consecutive even numbers are 144 .

( x + 2 ) + ( x + 4) + (x + 6) = 144

x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 = 144

3x + 12 = 144

3x = 144 - 12

3x = 132

x = 132/3

x = 44

Therefore , three consecutive numbers are:-

x + 2 = 44 + 2 = 46

x + 4 = 44 + 4 = 48

x + 6 = 44 + 6 = 50

Solution 3 :-

Let three consecutive odd numbers be( x +1), ( x+3) , ( x + 5 )

According to that question ,

The sum of three odd numbers are 177

Therefore ,

(x + 1) ( x + 3) +( x + 5) = 177

x + 1 + x + 3 + x + 5= 177

3x + 9 = 177

3x = 177 - 9

3x = 168

x = 168/3

x = 56

Therefore , The three consecutive odd numbers are :-

x + 1 = 56 + 1 = 57

x + 3 = 57 + 3 = 60

x + 5 = 57 + 5 = 62
