x+x+2+x+4=51

=> 3x=51-6

=> 3x= 45

=> x= 45/3

=> x= 15

THEREFORE,

The numbers are 15, (15+2) = 17, (15+4) = 19

15+17+19=51 [PROVED]

Let the three consecutive odd numbers be x,(x+2) and (x-2)

therefore,
x+(x+2)+(x-2)=51
=>3x+2-2=51
=>3x=51
=>x=51÷3
=>x=17

therefore,
one of the odd consecutive number is 17
the second is (x+2)=(17+2)=19
and the first one is (x-2)=(17-2)=15

Ans. The three odd consecutive numbers are 15,17 and 19
